There’s a male and female, and two or three eaglets living in this nest. I couldn’t get a good look at the eaglets, but I could see them moving around between the sticks of the nest. The mom was getting restless and calling for her mate several times before he came back. When he got back, he flew around a couple times while she moved over for him to land. You can see another bird in his talons he brought back for dinner. I think it was a crow. It was pretty amazing to sit and watch all of this. I was there for about three hours. They really looked like a family raising kids, the way they looked at each other and did everything so synchronized and coordinated. He even nudged her like a kiss hello when he landed. You could tell they were a couple. I’ve never seen birds behave like that before, pretty remarkable. Eagles Nest
